Privacy Policy
BlockVet ("BlockVet", "we", "us") operates a blockchain security‑intelligence platform that aggregates and presents security, audit, contract and market data about crypto projects and tokens. This policy explains what information we collect when you use blockvet.io and how we handle it.
01 Information we collect
BlockVet does not require you to create an account or submit personal information to browse the platform. We collect:
- Usage & device data — pages viewed, searches performed, referring page, approximate region, browser type and device characteristics, collected automatically to operate and improve the service.
- Cookies & local storage — small files and browser‑storage entries used for essential functionality, remembering your preferences (such as your cookie choice) and aggregate analytics. See "Cookies" below.
- Information you provide — if you contact us by email or submit a project, we receive the details you choose to send (e.g. your email address and message).
We do not intentionally collect wallet private keys, seed phrases, or sensitive financial credentials. Never send us such information.
02 Project & on‑chain data
The security scores, audit records, contract scans, holder distributions, market figures and news shown on BlockVet are aggregated from public sources, third‑party security providers and on‑chain data. This information concerns projects and tokens, not visitors of this site, and is displayed for informational purposes. Source attribution and accuracy are addressed in our Terms & Conditions.
03 Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and equivalent local‑storage entries:
- Essential — required for the site to load and function securely.
- Preferences — remember choices such as your cookie‑consent selection so the banner does not reappear.
- Analytics — help us understand, in aggregate, which features are used so we can improve them.
You can accept or decline non‑essential cookies via the banner shown on your first visit, and you can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings.
04 How we use information
- To operate, secure, maintain and improve the BlockVet platform.
- To analyse aggregate usage trends and platform performance.
- To respond to enquiries you send us.
- To detect, prevent and address abuse, fraud or technical issues.
05 Sharing & disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with service providers who help us run the platform (such as hosting and analytics providers), strictly to perform those services, and where required by law or to protect our rights and users.
06 Third‑party links & sources
BlockVet links to external websites — project sites, audit reports, block explorers, social channels and news outlets. These are operated by third parties and governed by their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any external site, and outbound links are provided for reference only.
07 Data retention & security
We retain analytics and operational data only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
08 Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
09 Children
BlockVet is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
10 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
